In France

France has eco-districts in Auxerre, Bordeaux, Brétigny-sur-Orge, Fresnes, Grenoble, Strasbourg, Rennes, Mulhouse and Mont-de-Marsan.

In Germany

Vauban Friborg-en-Brisgau is located near Freiburg in Germany, it covers 34 hectares with 600 jobs and 2000 homes. Its estimated population of around 5,500 benefits from public transport with a car-sharing system. The Kronsberg district in Hanover is also an eco-district inhabited by around 7,300 people.

In Africa
